In 2018, SDA began its vibrant tradition of celebrating Durga Puja — a cherished annual event that has only grown in splendour since. The five-day extravaganza unites Bengali and non-Bengali residents, fostering a sense of togetherness through traditional customs and joyous festivities. Sports, dandiya and lively DJ nights add excitement to the celebrations, where age and profession are set aside for pure enjoyment.
During these auspicious days, devotion and camaraderie fill the air as we collectively contribute to the festivities. Daily prasadam offerings and shared lunches for all members exemplify our unity and inclusivity. Durga Puja in SDA becomes more than just a celebration — it transforms into a bonding experience, creating lasting memories and forging connections that transcend the event itself.
