Durga Puja, being one of the most famous festivals of India is celebrated in a grand way in Sobha Dream Acres and it feels like a big family is celebrating the festival here. It's so beautiful to see the Puja, evening arti, many cultural programs, flea markets, dandiya and Garba night and also enjoying good food. The event is managed so well that all the residents enjoy the event and also celebrate the festival with their friends and family.

Durga Puja holds immense significance in our culture and traditions. I have been staying in Sobha Dream Acres for 6 years now and the attraction about this place is closeness to nature!! As the name says – Sobha Dream Acres Rain Forest!! After coming to this society, I have been closer to the diverse culture that we all celebrate together!! Different committee members built a common platform for all the residents to come closer to each other and celebrate all the festivals together. It helps to unite people from different cultures and religions in a friendly atmosphere, removing any misunderstanding between them. It is also a great chance to celebrate peace and love and spread it throughout the society. Durga Puja is one of the festivals which is celebrate across multiple states of India in their diverse way. But in all states the story of Maa Durga and the reason for the celebration is same: It is celebrated to commemorate the victory of Goddess Durga over the demon Mahishasura. Devotees of the goddess fast for nine days to pay respect to the nine incarnations of Maa Durga. The festival epitomizes the victory of good over evil. Hence I urge all the residents to come together and celebrate this togetherness and make this puja a grand success!!
