Durga Puja is one of the most important and widely celebrated festivals in India, especially in the states of West Bengal, Assam, and other regions with a significant Bengali population. It is dedicated to the worship of Goddess Durga, the embodiment of divine feminine power and the destroyer of evil.

Durga Puja, being one of the most famous festivals of India is celebrated in a grand way in Sobha Dream Acres and it feels like a big family is celebrating the festival here. It's so beautiful to see the puja, evening arti, many cultural programs, flea markets, dandiya and Garba night and also enjoying good food. The event is managed so well that all the residents enjoy the event and also celebrate the festival with their friends and family.
Durga puja celebration in society is one of the most awaiting and unforgettable experience. My family enjoyed a lot in past starting from puja to food. All are organised so well I am delighted to welcome this year as well. Wish you all the best to core members team for upcoming Durga puja.
Durga Puja holds immense significance in our culture and traditions. And also its a time for our SDA residents to together as a community to celebrate the triumph of good over evil and seek blessings for prosperity, happiness, and well-being. This festivities commence with the arrival of beautifully adorned Durga idols in our society pandal with many cultural activities. The memories created by our SDA Durga Puja committee previous years are always a cherished and strengthening the bonds of camaraderie within our society. Lets make this year celebration also a memorable. May the divine blessings of Goddess Durga be with you and your loved ones.
I have been staying in Sobha Dream Acres for 6 years now and the attraction about this place is closeness to nature!! As the name says – Sobha Dream Acres Rain Forest!! After coming to this society, I have been closer to the diverse culture that we all celebrate together!! Different committee members built a common platform for all the residents to come closer to each other and celebrate all the festivals together. It helps to unite people from different cultures and religions in a friendly atmosphere, removing any misunderstanding between them. It is also a great chance to celebrate peace and love and spread it throughout the society. Durga Puja is one of the festivals which is celebrate across multiple states of India in their diverse way. But in all states the story of Maa Durga and the reason for the celebration is same: It is celebrated to commemorate the victory of Goddess Durga over the demon Mahishasura. Devotees of the goddess fast for nine days to pay respect to the nine incarnations of Maa Durga. The festival epitomizes the victory of good over evil. Hence I urge all the residents to come together and celebrate this togetherness and make this puja a grand success!!
Sobha Dream Acres has been my home for four years, and the annual Durga Puja celebrations here are simply remarkable. They bring back nostalgic childhood memories, and I'm grateful to the dedicated committee for organizing such grand cultural events.
